Enough is enough.
Our High Street has been run into the ground so badly that residents are having to go to neighbouring High Streets because Slough no longer has a good enough High Street. Even our town centre night-time economy has been driven out.
The Labour-led Council has deliberately neglected and permitted our High Street to decline over a period of 10 years in anticipation of proposed developments, but now that these plans seem to have stalled, Slough residents are left with a dysfunctional High Street and no hope in sight.
We feel that this lack of progress is the worst of all possible outcomes, and we the undersigned call on the council to fully disclose what is going on with the existing proposals, what their plan is to move things forward and what impact further delays will have on our local economy.
